My dog attacked/bit someone while owned by someone else. I did not know this when I bought him. When asked on the application if my dog has ever attacked/bitten someone, do I answer "yes" or "no"?
Answer "yes". We are insuring the dog, not the owner.

Do you offer monthly payment plans?
Our only payment options are as follows:
Payment Options: 1) Pay in Full with Check or Credit Card, or 2) 20%-40% down + 11 Equal Monthly Installments. The exact downpayment cannot be determined until after your application is received.

Can I get proof of coverage immediately?
Most of the time. There is no extra fee.

I got a quote from another agent that is much higher than your quote. Why is your quote so low?
We are an independent insurance agency. We offer this insurance through many different companies. We take pride in researching which companies offer what you need. By researching, we can often find better offers than our competition who typically offers this type of insurance through only one insurance company. And if the one company they offer the insurance through has a high premium, they don't have any other options to offer you. But we research your options and find as many different possible options and choose the cheapest and best option for you.

What does "dog at large" mean?
This is defined by your local animal control and is different for each state and each county and city municipality. For example, the Illinois Domestic Animals Running At Large Act (510 ILCS 55/1.1) (from Ch. 8, par. 1.1) Defines "Running at large" or "run at large" as: livestock that strays from confinement or restraint and from the limits of the owner. But generally-speaking, it means that your dog is out of your control without your knowledge or with your knowledge and you don't know where he is or you do know where he is and he is physically located on another person's property without the property owner's permission. It means: your dog is loose in your neighborhood.
